Meditation and yoga work wonders on the psyche. It’s not just new age mumbo-jumbo. It has been scientifically proven to make you happier.  Check out Time Magazine’s great diagrams here.

You can start really easily…just sit, and let your mind be still.  That can be sit and gaze at the ocean, out your window…that’s an excellent start.  Here’s more in-depth how-to by Tara Stiles.
